About HUNGRI
Weighed in GSM, not in hype.
HUNGRI is a premium gym apparel label built on one idea: the fabric should be the loudest thing about the garment.
Every piece we make is named for its fabric weight in grams per square metre. The HUNGRI 560 is 560 GSM. The 290 is 290 GSM. The number is the specification, not a marketing name — so you know exactly what you are buying before it arrives.
Why we started
Founder Joseph Abraham got tired of paying premium prices for gym clothes that felt disposable after one season. Thin fleece, collars that stretched out, hems that curled after a month. So he built the opposite: heavier fabric, fewer pieces, no seasonal churn.
Our standard
We do not run seasonal collections or chase trends. We build a small range of pieces to a fixed standard and keep them. A HUNGRI hoodie bought this year is the same hoodie next year — same weight, same cut, same finish.
Weight is where we refuse to compromise. Most training fleece is built light because light is cheap to make and cheap to ship. We specify heavier, because a heavier garment holds its shape, holds its colour, and survives being worn hard.
